Lee Ivy (M.Clin Psych)

Ms Lee Ivy is a Clinical Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. She completed her Master of Clinical Psychology (Distinction) at Taylor’s University and holds a Bachelor of Psychology (First Class Honours) from HELP University. Her early professional experiences include working as an early childhood educator, tutor, and intervention specialist in special needs settings. These roles nurtured her deep appreciation for child development, learning differences, and the importance of family-centred support across different stages of life.

She received her clinical training in both government hospital and private mental health centre settings, where she worked closely with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists. Ivy has experience supporting individuals with depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, personality-related concerns, relational and marital difficulties, trauma-related stress, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Alongside therapy and psychological assessment, she is also involved in mental health education and training, delivering psychoeducation and workshops aimed at promoting early intervention, emotional awareness, and practical coping skills within the community.

In therapy, Ivy offers a gentle, warm, and acceptance-based approach, integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and systemic perspectives. She recognises that emotional difficulties are often influenced not only by internal experiences, but also by relationships, family dynamics, and the wider systems we live in. Guided by the ACT belief that “you don’t have to eliminate pain to live a meaningful life,” Ivy supports clients in cultivating self-compassion, clarity, and psychological flexibility, while moving towards meaningful change and healthier connections at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.
