I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, children, and families across hospital and private practice settings. After completing my Master’s in Clinical Psychology at HELP University, I spent three years working at Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore before returning to Malaysia to continue my clinical work.
My practice focuses on two key areas: helping adolescents and adults navigate complex emotional and relationship challenges, and supporting children and families facing neurodevelopmental, learning, and behavioural concerns.
For adolescents and adults, I work with individuals who find themselves repeatedly stuck in the same emotional, relational, or life patterns despite their best efforts to move forward. Many of my clients struggle with difficult family relationships, attachment-related challenges, relationship conflicts, identity concerns, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, or major life transitions. They often have insight into their difficulties but are seeking a deeper understanding of why these patterns continue to occur and how meaningful change can take place.
I have a particular interest in attachment, family dynamics, identity development, and the lasting impact of early life experiences on emotional wellbeing and relationships. My approach is grounded in the belief that our current struggles often make sense when understood within the context of our personal histories, relationships, and life experiences.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing primarily from humanistic and systemic perspectives. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I work collaboratively with clients to explore the underlying emotional, relational, and developmental factors contributing to their difficulties. Through this process, clients often develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
In addition to psychotherapy, I have extensive experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments for children and adolescents. I work closely with families seeking greater clarity regarding concerns related to Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and social development.
My assessment approach is collaborative and comprehensive, integrating information from parents, teachers, and the child to develop a holistic understanding of each child’s strengths, challenges, and support needs. Beyond identifying areas of difficulty, I aim to provide meaningful insights and practical recommendations that support learning, development, and wellbeing across home and school environments.
I also work therapeutically with children and adolescents experiencing behavioural, emotional, social, or learning-related challenges. Sessions are tailored to each child’s developmental needs and may incorporate expressive arts, LEGO®, and Sandplay Therapy to facilitate engagement, emotional expression, communication, and self-understanding. Where appropriate, I collaborate closely with parents, schools, and other professionals to strengthen the support systems surrounding the child.
At the heart of my work is the belief that authentic relationships—with ourselves and with others—are central to psychological wellbeing. I strive to create a thoughtful, respectful, and reflective space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to navigate growth, healing, and meaningful change.
I may be a good fit if you:
